Frequently asked questions
What is the Aster Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress and who should consider it?
The Aster Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress is a customizable, 11-inch mattress made with 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop organic latex layers and an organic cotton cover with wool for temperature regulation and flame resistance. It’s best for sleepers who want adjustable comfort across layers and can suit a range of body types and sleeping positions.
How does the layering customization work and who benefits from it?
You can choose a 4-inch base layer (firm or medium), a 4-inch middle layer (firm, medium, or soft), and a 3-inch top layer (soft or medium). This lets you tailor overall support and surface feel to your preferred firmness and sleeping style.
What materials are used in the cover and how do they help with daily use?
The layers are encased in organic cotton, and the cover is quilted with certified organic wool. This combination supports temperature control, breathability, and natural flame retardancy.
Is this mattress suitable for adjustable bed bases?
Yes, the Aster can be used with an adjustable bed base, allowing you to customize elevation along with the layered firmness options.
Who is this mattress a good fit for, and who might want a different setup?
It’s ideal for someone who values organic materials and wants personalized firmness across layers. Those seeking a very specific top-layer feel or a simpler, non-customizable setup might prefer a standard mattress.
Can I order a non-standard size or customize the height?
Yes, the mattress can be customized to accommodate different heights, weights, and body types, with queen and king sizes offering dual firmness options. Custom sizes are available upon request.
